THE SEAL OF BELIEVERS

TEXT: In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise (Ephesians 1vs13)

MESSAGE

After we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour, we need to continue in our salvation. To continue in our salvation, we need a force, a power, a motivator that is capable of making us to continue in the experience we had when we got saved, meaning that, we need a seal on our salvation so that it will not be jeopardised or jettisoned. Apostle Paul and other apostles had the seal on their salvation experience till they went to reign with Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit is the seal of believers' salvation. "...in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise" (Ephesians 1vs13). The ministry of the Holy Spirit is the essence of our Christian living. Our Christian life will be in jeopardy if we fail or refuse to allow the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives. JESUS CHRIST promised us the Holy Spirit; He said He would teach us all things and bring all things to our remembrance (John 14vs26); He will guide us into all truth (John 16vs14). The reason some Christians fall and rise is because they have relegated the Holy Spirit in their Christian lives and except you have daily mutual/cordial fellowship with the Holy Spirit, He may not help you to overcome temptations.

Beloved, we must not underestimate or undermine the work of the Holy Spirit in achieving success or making us successful Christians. Mind you, no Christian is successful until He reigns with Christ eternally.

POINT TO NOTE: The seal of our salvation is the Holy Spirit. Daily yielding to the Holy Spirit makes our salvation sealed in Christ. Except you welcome Him and yield to His directives, you will just be falling and rising.

ACTION POINT: Allow the Holy Spirit into you and yield daily to His directives. By this you will get your salvation sealed.
