YOUR WALLS CAN BE REBUILT

TEXT: Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem (Psalms 51vs18)

MESSAGE

Jerusalem is a strong city, it is at the center of Israel which has now become the capital of Israel. Jerusalem/Israel is a city God so much love. However, one thing about God is that no matter how special and indispensable a man or city may seem to be before God, when he/she or the city goes against God's will, such person or city will seriously pay for it. This was the case of king David - he was special before God and man, he used to worship and praise God with instrument of music, but when he committed adultery and murder, he was not spared, rather he was punished. David's wall was broken - he knew he was empty, he recognized that he was no longer protected (he and the Israelites). David therefore cried to God, asking God to forgive him, have mercy on him, wash him, cleanse him and remember his sin no more - he became sober, contrite and broken. God then forgave him and he continued to please God so much that God called him a man after his own heart.

You may have a similar case like David. You may not kill nor commit adultery but your sins have broken the wall of protection of God in your life - your broken walls have opened up chances/opportunities for the enemy to strike you and your family at large, it now seems as if God is not with you and your family. Like David did, God expects you to have a contrite and broken heart leading you to His presence for forgiveness and genuine repentance. Isaiah 1vs18 says "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Verse 19 says "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land." Do you know that your broken wall has affected many souls around you? In the same way, when your broken wall is rebuilt, many souls and generations will be positively affected. I pray that as you take the right steps, the mercy of God shall locate you in Jesus name.

POINT TO NOTE: God is still in the business of rebuilding walls of protection, salvation, etc - be it as an individual, a family, group or as a nation.

ACTION POINT: Humbly go to God and ask Him to rebuild the wall.
